PRICE $

The cost of Phase One

  • of the itinerary is $1,500, based on double or multiple occupancy of the rooms.three days in Baudhanath visiting sacred Buddhist sites in the area, followed by a one week drub-chen in Parping;
  • An single room supplement costs an additional $500.
The cost of Phase Two
  • i.e., the extension to Maratika, will be calculated later. We expect it will be approx. $500 for retreat participants, and $750 for people only coming for this part of the pilgrimage. A major expense here is the gas for the two long drives by chartered vehicles that take us to and from Maratika.a ten hour drive each way to Maratika, the Amitayus Cave where Padma Sambhava and Mandarava meditated.
  • Single supplement room is $300 extra
MEALS
Three meals a day are included when we are in retreat in both Parping and Maratika, but only breakfast and lunch are included during our days in Baudhanath.

Lama Glenn feels that this is the best policy because of the dozens of boutique restaurants and cafes in the Baudha area, many of which do not have seating for large groups.

cost
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required by January 15st, and full payment by March 15th.

The chartered vehicles that will take us to and from pilgrimage sites, as well as to and from both Parping and Maratika, are included in the cost.

Rooms based on double or multiple occupancy are included (double where possible). A single supplement room costs an additional $500.

Please note that the international airfare from your home to and from Nepal is not included. You must organize this yourself. Booking early usually offers better prices. We recommend taking a pre-paid taxi from the Kathmandu airport to our hotel; these cost approximately $10, and should be booked inside the airport foyer after you pass through customs.

Cost of the optional pilgrimage to Maratika will be $500 for those attended the retreat and $750 for those who just join for the Maratika, and includes food and double or multiple accommodation. The single supplement cost is an additional $300.

The Milarepa Lineage

of Tummo for Healing

This is the Amitayus lineage known as Tse-ta Zungtrel, or "Amitayus/Hayagriva Fused Together," that descends from the Indian female master Siddharani, was brought to Tibet by Rechungpa and given to Milarepa, and later was transmitted through the line of Dalai and Panchen Lamas. We will blend the mandala/manra practice of the Eight Generation Stage Meditations, with the Eight Tummo Yogas of the Completion stage.

If interested please contact us at this email address and all the details will be sent to you. Due to limited space, THERE WILL BE 45 PEOPLE LIMIT
